Le Sobre really exceeded expectations. It was our first evening location after arriving in Bordeaux and was worth every penny. Friendly staff guided and advised us on selecting wine from a very big selection. They have a selection for everyone in there from reasonably priced to more expensive and it is all the highest quality wine.
They also serve really nice food, we got a nice cheese and meat platter as well as steak cutlets.
All in all it was a great introduction to Bordeaux and would recommend any people visiting Bordeaux for the first time to go. It won’t break the bank either.

Wonderful atmosphere, very helpful, friendly advise, well-curated selection of wine from budget to premier cru, tasty if limited things to eat. We will definitely return next time we're in Bordeaux.
